Kristin Caldwell
RVT and Chief of Veterinary Operations
Kristin wanted to become a veterinary technologist after caring for her own dog as a child. She spent many summers on a family farm and knew that she wanted to continue to care for animals as a career.
Her goal with every patient visit is to share her knowledge with the pet or livestock owner. Our jobs are filled with a wealth of information and she enjoys teaching it to new staff, students and clients.
Kristin shares her life with her husband and four children. They keep busy on their ranch of commercial and purebred Charolais cattle. They have three dogs Jess, Jed and Dibbles and three cats George, Pumpkin and Crush.
Kristin lives and works by the philosophy You need to make time for the important things in life.

Courtney Walter
Bsc, RVT
Courtney grew up on a farm north of Calgary, Alberta where they raised meat turkeys and had a small herd of 40 cows, which is where her passion for animals began! She went to the University of Saskatchewan and completed a Bachelor’s of Agriculture with a major in Animal Science and then attended Olds College for her RVT diploma.
Courtney now lives on a mixed farm (grain and cattle) east of Lampman with her husband, Allan, and son, Bryce. They spend most of their time farming but when they do get to enjoy time away they love taking Pepper (their border collie x heeler) and Bryce on many adventures!
Jenna Powell
RVT
Jenna grew up in Carnduff, Saskatchewan. Her love of animals began early with their first pet, a shih-tzu named Lucki, and continued to grow when she and her sister joined Horse 4H and got their own horses. Although they always lived in town, she enjoyed going out to spend time with the horses as much as possible. Jenna has been a technician with PAHC since 2014 in the Estevan and Carnduff locations. She’s always had a big love for dental procedures; they provide almost immediate pain relief to the pet that you can witness when they wake up from their anesthesia. She also enjoys any work to do with small dogs, cats, birds, or wildlife. Jenna is glad to be witnessing and learning new things everyday at the clinic. She finds being a technician very fulfilling. Jenna lives in Carnduff with her husband, Callan, and her daughter, Julie. She is not often found around town or at work without her beagle mutt, Patty. At home she enjoys the company of her sphynx cat, May. Jenna enjoys kayaking, golfing, fishing, cabin life, collecting oddities, and walks down by the creek with her family. She also has a peculiar interest in taxidermy; she has taken training in avian taxidermy and is self-taught in insect taxidermy.

Her favorite part of the job is being hands-on in patient care and seeing animals recover and thrive, knowing she’s made a difference. In her free time, Lorina enjoys spending time with her dog, Remi, reading, and visiting her family farm whenever she can.
